The Southern Sudanese keyboard layout is designed to use with Tavultesoft Keyman. The keyboard layout currently supports Nuer and Dinka. Additional languages will be added.
The Southern Sudanese keyboard layout uses deadkey combinations to type the required diacritics. The deadkey is entered first, followed by the vowel the diacritic is placed above or below. The diaeresis is assigned to the “]” key, while the macron below is assigned to the “[” key. These keys are highlighted on the keyboard map below.
